The three classes of the Grande Section of the Caluire kindergarten participated in an outing to the Miribel park, at the l’Iloz area.
The morning activities focused on work involving the five senses. The children were able to explore touch by walking barefoot on different textures in sensory bins. They worked on sight by creating a picture from the plants and flowers found in the park. Hearing was engaged through an activity recognizing bird songs, while taste was explored by discovering different plants and flowers from the garden.
The children even learned that a plant could be used as soap and washed their hands with it before the picnic in the park.
After lunch, a quiet time around reading stories was offered, followed by outdoor games between the classes before taking the bus back.
It was a day full of emotions, discoveries, and beautiful moments of sharing.
