The survey conducted among twenty-four students of German at both lower and upper secondary levels shows that social media occupy a predominant place in the lives of the students surveyed, and for a quarter of them, from the very beginning of adolescence. Moreover, half of the respondents spend between one and three hours on social media platforms. Although their use allows for communication, sharing, and the discovery of enriching content, students remain exposed to the risk of excessive consumption. For this reason, in order to reap all the benefits, social media must be used thoughtfully, with the support of parents and various teachers.
