The newly instated Climate Action Club carried out their very first event on the 16th of December: a thrift shop, accompanied by information displays and interactive quizzes, to raise awareness amongst classmates regarding the impact of fast fashion on the environment.
Using a currency of recyclable plastic bottle tops, almost all items donated to the shop were sold, and the leftover stock was given to the charity collection at the collège.
Attendees left the event with a better understanding of how they can use their consumer power for good!
